Astute Bloodstock welcomes Dean Elliott

Dean Elliott is joining Astute Bloodstock as a racing analyst and Victorian representative.

Dean has over 15 years’ experience working in the racing industry. He is an exceptional form analyst with an uncanny ability to identify emerging top racehorses early in their career.

Our plan is to increase our activity Australia-wide, with Melbourne being an important market for us. Dean will be active sourcing mares and racehorses privately for our expanding clientele in Australia and Hong Kong.

Some of Dean’s previous experience includes:

  • 8 years at Lindsay Park & Cornerstone Stud in Marketing and Bloodstock
  • 6 years at William Hill/BetEasy as BDM (winning a global award as Best Newcomer for William Hill in 2014)
  • 3 years at James Harron Bloodstock as General Manager for JHB Syndications

“I am excited to start this new chapter with Dean, we have been friends for years, and have worked well together in the past. We share the same passion for the industry, our ethos and values are aligned and we have some pretty bold goals and plans already in place.“ - Louis Le Metayer

“Louis and I have been friends and colleagues since 2006. In that time I have admired Louis’ judgment, transparency, professionalism, and above all, his absolute passion for the thoroughbred industry. I look forward to assisting Astute Bloodstock and its clients in achieving some exciting goals.“ – Dean Elliott
