2yo filly Coral Beach wins Gr3 in Ireland

CORAL BEACH was purchased by Astute Bloodstock as a weanling at the Tattersalls November sale for 85000 GNS and on-sold at the Tattersalls yearling sale 11 months later for 90000 GNS to the bid of MV Magner.

As a pinhooking exercise it was only an average result but from a talent scout point of view, I am thrilled that we managed to identify and secure another Group horse.

It was an impressive training performance from the team at Ballydoyle who kept persevering with the filly who showed exceptional soundness and toughness to win a Gr3 on her 13th start as a 2yo over 1400m yesterday at Leopardstown.

Congratulations to the team at Coolmore Stud, we wish them further success with this stunning daughter of Zoffany. CORAL BEACH is entered for the Gr1 Irish 1000 Guineas in May of next year.

Thanks to our pin-hooking partners Mr Sam Hayes, Dr Antony Clement, Mr Roger Langley, Mr Orio Rizio.

The impressive debut of Midlife Crisis (Fr) (Wootton Bassett {GB}) in a 2-year-old maiden at Deauville in France on Tuesday owed more than just a little to the foresight of Australian-based agent Louis Le Metayer of Astute Bloodstock, who sourced his dam, The Hunt Is On (Manhattan Rain) for his French breeders, Haras d'Etreham.
