Brooklyn Hustle 4 years of consistency at stakes level.
Back in 2011, I was privileged to help the Rosemont Stud team to secure a handful of value mares in Europe. At the Arqana December breeding sales Anthony Mithen and I were wowed by a magnificent Pivotal mare called Joint Aspiration. She was a Stakes performer in the US and built like an Aussie sprinter. She was in foal to Fastnet Rock at the time.
Her overall speed profile was ideal for Australia and she was secured for EU 85k.
Her daughter Brooklyn Hustle (STARSPANGLEDBANNER) has been a flag-bearer for Rosemont Stud and trainer Jason Warren having earned $700k in prize money and being so competitive at stakes level over 4 years.
It was a brilliant performance on Saturday when finishing second in a listed race first-up this preparation.
Let’s hope that she can go one better soon.

Last Saturday was a special day for Astute Bloodstock
