French stayer Darabad heads to Melbourne
We are very exited with the new acquisition of the regally bred and emerging stayer Darabad. The 3yo colt is by champion sire Dansili out of Gr1 winning mare Daryakana. Darabad is also a half brother to Gr1 winner Dariyan. Bred and raced by The Aga Khan Stud the colt broke his maiden in a Listed race over 2400m on fast ground in Deauville last August. Darabad is heading to Melbourne where he will join the stables of top trainer Robbie Laing. Good luck to all his new owners Rai & Susie Montaigue, Mark Lester and Mark Casey. The colt will be prepared for the Melbourne Cup 2017.
