Head shave for charity this Christmas
I think I am pretty fortunate and Christmas is a good time to think about those who aren't.
So after copping a lot of abuse for a terrible hair cut I decided to shave it all off providing that I could raise a minimum of $5000 for the Salvation Army.
Thanks to James Harron who guaranteed the payment along with Paddy Power who helped cutting it all off. Thanks also to Henry Field who has offered to donate an additional $10 to every retweet of my shaved head.
"The Salvation Army expects to help around 300,000 Australians doing it tough this Christmas. It is expected that around 100,000 food vouchers and hampers will be distributed and 10,000 meals served to those in need. The Salvos will also give out over 500,000 gifts and toys this Christmas."
Now I am going to look terrible for another 3 months but as long as we can raise $10 000 for a credible charity and a good cause then it is all worth it.
Thanks for your donations.
Merry Christmas to all!

Last Saturday was a special day for Astute Bloodstock given that each of our 5 runners rose to the occasion and won convincingly at Royal Randwick and Flemington. Our priority at work is to select and purchase future elite racehorses so it was a thrill to see 3 winning at Gr.2 level.
