Lightly raced 3yo Pierino wins on debut
The lightly raced 3yo PIERINO was rather impressive yesterday winning first up for trainer Danny Williams and jockey Blake Shinn.
Pierino (Pierro) showed talent from the start and being a late maturing horse he was given time to strengthen. We feel that he will need beyond 1600m to show his best and we look forward to the next few steps ahead. Another good result for Sunninghill Park who looked after him beautifully during his spell and while in pre-training.
Congratulations to all the owners most of which have been loyal supporters of Astute Bloodstock. Peter James, Michael Santangelo, Tony Bonvino, Sam Circosta, James Christie, D Ponnusamy, Dave Behan, Nick Vass, Peter Colley, Henry Field, Angelo Riccio, Gary Diamond.

Last Saturday was a special day for Astute Bloodstock
